This former professional athlete shifted his career path over 23 years ago, when he retired from the baseball diamond and made a decision to attend law school. Before entering the legal field, Robin F. Fuson was a professional baseball player. Over the course of his professional baseball career, he played for a number of teams, including Boston, Cleveland, Seattle and Oakland. He retired from his sports career with two championship rings and a highly coveted World Series ring.

Robin F. Fuson, P.A., is licensed to practice law in the entire State of Florida, including all state and county courts. He is also qualified to represent clients involved in federal matters in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Attorney Robin F. Fuson’s education includes a degree from the University of South Florida, where he graduated in 1990 with a B.S. in Criminology. He went on to attend the esteemed Stetson University College of Law, graduating with his degree in 1993.
In college, he played intramural sports and was a member of a number of organizations, including the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Alpha Phi Sigma, and the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.
Notably, Attorney Robin F. Fuson successfully prosecuted the first drug overdose murder trial in the State of Florida. He also received a commendation from Sheriff Cal Henderson of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, for the successful prosecution of all 22 defendants in a cocaine-related RICO case dubbed “Operation Drive-Through.”

Robin F. Fuson, P.A., started his legal career as a prosecutor with the Office of the State Attorney in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Florida – a direction that he pursued for approximately eight years.
As a prosecutor, he worked his way up through the ranks at the Florida State Attorney’s Office, holding various positions such as the chief of narcotics prosecution and chief of DUI prosecution. As a result of this eclectic experience, he has extensive knowledge of the most common local prosecution strategies, particularly for DUI cases and drug crimes in Florida.
As the prosecutor in charge of several areas of criminal law, he prosecuted a vast range of offenses, ranging from first-degree murder, home invasions, carjacking cases and kidnappings, to RICO violations, organized crime cases, trafficking, DUI, assault and battery and beyond. His division had a conviction rate of 93%.
He also spent time instructing Hillsborough County law enforcement officers about topics related to criminal law and the criminal justice system as a whole. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida.
After working as a prosecutor for eight years, Attorney Fuson shifted gears to focus on providing criminal defense to clients who are under investigation for a crime or facing actual criminal charges as the result of an arrest, summons or warrant.
