DUI School in Florida
In order to get your driver's license reinstated, you must attend DUI school. Your driving privileges will remain suspended until you have completed DUI school, and all other requirements have been met. The length and requirements of the program depend on the outcome of a substance abuse evaluation and whether the individual has any prior DUI charges or convictions. Even if DUI school is not required by the court, an individual may be required to attend DUI school by the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
At DUI school, offenders learn about the importance of driving responsibly, and the negative consequences of abusing drugs and alcohol while driving. DUI school also gives offenders the opportunity to confront their alcohol or drug problems, and seek the help they may need to move towards a positive future.
